I took it for a test drive and I thought it drove fine so I decided to test it out for more days. Besides that however, the engine seemed good and other fluids were level. There were old leaves laying in the engine…I was like, wait, how does a car that was recently inspected have old autumn leaves laying around in the engine? The engine compartment was lot dirtier than how it was pictured online. I was appalled when I first opened the bonnet. Interior: again, scratches along the driver side door interior that was not informed. In some sense, this is false advertisement! Ok, so I suck it up and start to inspect the interior and the engine. I found WAY MORE imperfections in many places including small dents that were not informed. My advice to potential buyers is that, be VERY VERY WARY of the graphical representations of the cars on Carvana. However, my face started turning stern as I started the inspection. The advocate did a good job delivering the vehicle I must say. Advocate unloads car, it seems pretty clean at first sight. I had a friend with me to help me inspect the vehicle. Also, I read that it was the norm for the advocates to call so I am confused as to why I did not get such notice. I would at least expect a confirmation call on the day of delivery. The advocate called me when they were 15 minutes away from my home. ? Delivery date rolls around I get no calls or messages or nothing in terms of where they are. Yes, the whole process does seem like it’s hassle free for customers but remember that Carvana as the dealership is also taking advantage of the online convenience to easily close deals. This part of the process was smooth (and why wouldn’t be, it’s the part where Carvana is also conveniently closing a deal!). Expected delivery date was last week of August. Placed an order on a 2014 Yaris 2 door L in the middle of August. In the meantime, what the heck, I will give Carvana a try! I’ve spent couple months finagling with dealers to try to get a deal but couldn’t really reach a point where they were able to tide me over. Now, I am not afraid to face dealers at dealerships. One issue after another and it does not end! Ok, I am still in the middle of going through with my Carvana experience but I decided to post this ongoing review.
